I present to you, the 2006-07 Virginia Tech Hokies!
So, the Virginia Tech Hokies' amazing 2006-07 season is now over with their disappointing loss to the 4th seeded Southern Illinois Salukis, 63-48. Although he didn't finish his Senior season the way he would have liked to, Zabian Dowdell was nothing short of brilliant this season averaging 17.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 3.1 assists per game. Like I said, he didn't have a good tournament at all, in the two games the Hokies were in, Dowdell averaged just 7.5 ppg. Another guy who had a great year was junior, Deron Washington. He scored 12 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. Washington is a freak of an athlete with great range and a powerful dunker. Deron is expected, with guys like A.D. Vassallo(who averaged 11 ppg) and Nigel Munson to lead the Hokies next season. The Hokies will also be losing their starting point guard, Jamon Gordon and their starting center, Coleman Collins. Gordon averaged 11.4 ppg, 4.5 rbg and 4.5 apg and Collins averaged 7.8 ppg, 4.8 rpg and 1.3 bpg.
But with that said, I found a great video on youtube earlier today of the Hokies 06-07 season.
