It has been confirmed. Chargers get their guy.

The San Diego Chargers have agreed to send an undisclosed draft pick to the Tennesse Titans for disgruntled quarterback Billy Volek. Like I said this deal is just a little insurance for Chargers' starter Phillip Rivers. This deal makes sense for both teams. Chargers wanted a veteran QB to help Rivers picked up a solid back-up in Volek. And it makes sense for the Titans because obviously they have no attention in starting Volek so why not at least pick up something for him? The draft pick will most likely be a 5th or 6th round pick in the 2007 draft. The Chargers offered a 6th round pick but the Titans have been asking for a 5th, so we'll see.
