Updated Heisman Picture

1. Troy Smith QB(OSU) 12/26 269 yds 2 TDs

Troy Smith looked very good against the #2 ranked Texas Longhorns. He lead his Buckeyes to a 24-7 win. Smith's favorite target in this game was Anthony Gonzalez(8 rec 142 yds 1 TD) Troy Smith showed me that he is the front runner for the Heisman so far.

Next Opponet: Cincinnati (9/16)

2. Adrian Peterson RB(OU) 32 car 165 yds 2 TDs , 2 rec 6 yds(171 total)

After his own coaching staff blasted him for not giving his all after gaining over 200 yards against UAB, Peterson came back with 165 yards on the ground against Washington. Maybe that will please Oklahoma.

Next Opponet: #18 Oregon(9/16)

3. Brady Quinn QB(ND) 25/36 287 yds 3 TDs , 8 car 6 yds(293 total)

Brady Quinn was sub-par against the relentless defense of Georgia Tech in week 1. But he looked very good against Penn State this week. He had no passing touchdowns vs GT, but he came back with 3 big TDs in South Bend on Saturday.

Next Opponet: #11 Michigan(9/16)
