Well thats just great....

VA Tech has suspended two starters for the Georgia Tech game on Saturday. Defensive end Chris Ellis and split end Josh Morgan have been suspended for violating team rules.

Ellis and Morgan were suspended by coach Frank Beamer on Monday after both players were arrested early Sunday morning following an altercation outside a downtown nightclub in Blacksburg, VA.

Late Sunday morning around 1:50 a.m. Lt. Joe Davis of the Blacksburg Police Department said officers from his department responded to calls of a "large crowd forming and advised a fight was about to "break out".

Josh Morgan didn't follow officers' orders to leave the area and was eventually arrested on a Class 1 misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.

Chris Ellis was also arrested and charged with misdemeanor obstructing an officer after he failded to leave the scene after Morgan was arrested.

"They went to place Morgan under arrest and he did not follow their orders or commands," Davis said.

"Ellis went to try to get involved with the officers who were arresting Morgan and didn't follow their commands and was taken into custody. It was pretty cut and dry."

Davis also said that neither player was jailed and both were released on perosnal recognizance bonds.

Don't worry i'm sure we can replace one of the Hokies' most disruptive defensive linemen. I mean his 12 tackles and 1 sack can be replaced...no problem...I hope.

Morgan on the other hand, is Tech's second-leading receiver, with 10 grabs for 161 yards and 2 TDs. He also has blocked 2 punts, including 1 for a safety last week against Cincinnati. We sure could use both against GT. Georgia Tech gave Notre Dame all they could handle and last week the put a beating on conference rival, Virgina.

Ok, I would really like to see VT add a rule that these players ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE A PERSONAL LIFE!!!! Obvioulsy they can't handle a night out on the town without getting into a fight or pulling a gun outside of a McDonalds, MARCUS...
